PelvicSense Pilot Program โ€” As Funding for Women's Health Research Disappears

Apr 08, 2025

In a time when funding for women’s health research is being cut, and access to specialized pelvic care is out of reach for so many, we believe innovation must fill the gap.

That's why we've launched the PelvicSense Pilot Program, a no-cost opportunity for pelvic health providers to support their patients with chronic pelvic pain who cannot access in-person pelvic physical therapy.

Every week, MDs, WHNPs, and pelvic PTs tell us the same story: their patients are motivated, but they face impossible barriers—waitlists, insurance hurdles, long travel distances, or simply no nearby providers. This is especially true for those on Medicaid or living in under-resourced communities.

PelvicSense was built to meet this need.

What the Pilot Offers

The pilot program provides up to 10 of your patients with free access to PelvicSense’s Silver Plan for three months. This includes:

  • A Zoom welcome session with our founder, a pelvic PT with 30+ years of experience

  • A structured, guided pelvic wellness program they can do from home

  • Ongoing support via Q&A with Evelyn, our founder

  • Progress monitoring via a dashboard (managed by our team, not your staff)

  • Optional tracking using validated clinical tools such as the Pain Catastrophization Scale

  • Anonymous insights, including changes in ER visits or symptom burden over time

Why It Matters for Practitioners

We recognize your time is limited and your resources are stretched. This pilot offers a low-lift way to:

  • Support patients with few or no PT options

  • Observe the potential impact of digital pelvic health care

  • Receive optional outcome data that may inform your own care planning

  • Be part of a movement to expand evidence-based support to those most in need

A Path Forward

We envision a future where digital programs like PelvicSense are not a backup plan—but a vital part of the pelvic health ecosystem. For many patients, self-management can be the bridge between medical care and lasting relief. Especially when pelvic PT isn’t accessible, patients deserve more than waitlists and wishful thinking.

We invite you to be part of this step forward in pelvic care.
